Though I will never impose a ban on any language here, please do not take this as a cue to abuse it.
Those of you that I know already (everyone that's a member thusfar), this is not directed at you as I know you guys know better. This is more so for the benefit of everyone here and for all the new members joining.
Cursing within reason is one thing. However, cursing simply because you can and to excess should be avoided.
As I stated in a PM I just finished sending, something along the lines of "You won't believe the fucking deal I got today." is perfectly acceptable as that's just how some people talk and they are using the term in as appropriate a way as possible. However, "You won't fucking believe the fucking deal I fucking got today." is a bit ridiculous and is a good example of abusing the lax policy of swearing.
If you feel the need to use words that could possibly be offensive to others, please try to keep it to a semi respectable level and do not go crazy with it.
Though it should go without saying, I will say this anyway. Racial/ethnical slurs are a NO-NO! Though I am by no means a fan of political correctness, the use of any term that is solely meant to demean someone else's race/heritage/culture falls under the category of harassment/abuse of a fellow member and WILL get your ass kicked/banned with a quickness. If you feel the need to unleash a bigotous tirade, please save it for your "real" life and refrain from us having to read it.
